Summary
Daily Check-in (“the app”) is a local habit tracker. It does not collect, store or transmit your personal information.
We collect no data
The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking SDKs. It makes no network requests, so your habits, check-ins and journal entries never leave your iPhone.
Photos
If you attach a photo to a journal entry, you pick it with the system photo picker. The app stores a resized copy inside its own database on your device. Photos are never uploaded to any server, and the app only accesses the photos you explicitly choose.
Notifications
Habit reminders and focus-timer alerts are scheduled locally by iOS. No notification content is sent to us or to any third party.
Widget
The Home Screen widget reads today’s progress from a shared container on your device so it can show the same information as the app. This data does not leave the device.
Device backups
If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or a computer, the app’s local database is included in that backup, just like any other app’s data. Those backups are controlled by your iOS settings and by Apple, not by this app.
Third-party services
The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services.
Data security
Because the app collects nothing, your information stays on your own device under the protection of iOS. Deleting the app removes its local data.
Children’s privacy
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
