Twinform (数字孪生) — 3D Scanner & LiDAR. This policy covers the app on iPhone and iPad.

Overview

Twinform (the “App”) respects and protects your privacy. In short: the App does not collect any data, and scanning and processing run on your device.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect, store or transmit any personal data or usage data, and the App contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.

Camera and LiDAR

The App uses the camera and LiDAR scanner only while you scan an object or a room. Photos, depth and the resulting 3D models are processed on your device to build and texture the model. Photos taken while scanning a room are deleted once the room model is saved.

Optional iCloud Sync

iCloud Sync is off by default. If you turn it on, your 3D models, their names and their measurements are stored in your own private iCloud database so they appear on your other devices. This data goes to Apple’s iCloud under your Apple Account; it is visible only to you, and we (the developer) cannot access it. Raw capture photos are never synced. You can turn sync off at any time in the App.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.

Children’s privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children, or from anyone.
